Summerlands Surgery Travel Clinic Welcome to Summerlands Surgery Travel Clinic information. Based on the borders of Kent and South East London, our specialist Travel Clinic Service employs experienced staff and advanced data gathering technology. Anyone can use our service even if they are not registered at Summerlands. However, the fees for vaccines will differ depending on whether or not you are registered with us. For patients using this service, who are not registered at Summerlands, a fee is payable for all vaccines administered. To view our competitive fees and the payment methods available, please click here. How to Use the Service Simply contact our reception and book an appointment with Sister Tinham. Please ensure that you explain that the purpose of the appointment is for the Travel Clinic. When you attend the clinic for your vaccinations you will also be given advice relevant to your intended travel. Any necessary certification e.g.. Yellow fever certificates will also be issued. For many vaccinations there is a lag period between administration and full effectiveness. Some need to be given as a course of injections. For this reason you should aim to book an appointment at least 8 weeks in advance of your intended travel. We may still offer you an appointment after this but, you should be aware that it may be too late to ensure full vaccine or prophylaxis cover in time for your journey.
